Astracitron – always protects against colds and flu
The Public Health Center reports that over the past 3 months, 2.8 million Ukrainians fell ill with acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) and influenza, of which 38.3% were children under the age of 17 (1).
To alleviate the condition of such patients, the pharmaceutical company Astrapharm produces the combined drug Astracitron in the form of a sachet for oral use.
One sachet contains 4 active ingredients:
- paracetamol – effectively normalizes body temperature, eliminates headaches and inflammation;
- phenylephrine hydrochloride – has a vasoconstrictive effect, reduces swelling and hyperemia of the nasal mucosa, the severity of exudative manifestations, restores free breathing, reduces pressure in the paranasal cavities and in the middle ear;
- pheniramine maleate – a blocker of histamine H1 receptors, reduces vascular permeability, eliminates lacrimation, itchy eyes and nose;
- ascorbic acid – vitamin C has a positive effect on the immune response of the body, promotes the synthesis of antibodies, increased reactivity, phagocytic activity of leukocytes, the body’s resistance to disease.
Astracitron contains a minimum amount of dyes and flavor enhancers. It is used for adults and children from 14 years old, 1 sachet every 3-4 hours.
The duration of treatment is up to 5 days.
